RALPH LAUREN FOUNDATION & TEAM REVOLUTION

“The best way to predict the future is to create it”

Partner

Polo Ralph Lauren

(Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative)

Location

New York, NY

Context / Challenge

Teens were interested in fashion as a form of creative expression but lacked access to the industry, its institutions, and its business side. We leveraged my professional relationship with Polo Ralph Lauren to start a school for teens, focusing on bridging the gap between creative passion and professional pathways.

Role

World Builder, Experience Designer, and Co-Educator — responsible for translating corporate social responsibility goals into a transformational learning experience and developing a curriculum for emerging youth leaders.

What We Built

A youth fashion school that seamlessly blended design principles, branding strategy, and entrepreneurship. The program was co-developed with Polo and served as a specialized arm of Team Revolution's Fellowship Academy, offering genuine corporate mentorship.

Approach / Methods

Industry partnership, hands-on workshops led by brand professionals, and one-on-one mentorship. The program was framed as a practical application of social entrepreneurship, where students learned to build a brand with both commercial and community value.

Impact / Outcomes

Students gained foundational skills in the fashion business, developed professional networks, and saw new possibilities for their careers. This project became a key example of how a Fortune 500 company could successfully partner with a grassroots, youth-led organization to cultivate talent.

Story

“The students didn’t just wear Polo — they learned how to build a brand, applying the entrepreneurial mindset that the best way to predict the future is to create it.”
